Roy Keane suggested at the weekend that Manchester United should go out and sign Harry Kane from Manchester United (Sky Sports).

The former Red Devils captain made the comments whilst appearing as a pundit during the match between United and Liverpool at Old Trafford.

Former England defender Stuart Pearce has shot down Keane’s suggestion and claimed that the Spurs talisman is unlikely to move to the former Premier League champions as they are unable offer him Champions League football.

During an appearance on talkSPORT’s Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show, the 57-year-old admitted that Sir Alex Ferguson would have attempted to sign Kane whilst in charge but believes that the former academy product’s love for the North London side would make the move difficult.
