Tottenham’s poor start to the season has seen some fans already question if Mauricio Pochettino has taken the club as far as he can.
Being eliminated by Colchester United in the third round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night has intensified the pressure that the Argentine and the team are under.
A Spurs fan called into talkSPORT’s show, The Sports Bar, hosted by Andy Goldstein and Jason Cundy to discuss whether Pochettino still has a future with the North London outfit.
The fan in question referred to the Spurs manager as the best in England at the moment, a comment that Goldstein took issue with. A heated debate ensued between the fan and the presenter.

Caller- "Pochettino is the best manager in England!"
Andy – "You're suggesting that a manager that hasn't won anything is better than two that have won it all?" 🤔@AndyGoldstein05 and Ben, the Spurs fan, couldn't have disagreed more over #THFC's manager. 😡 pic.twitter.com/wfCjEv5HRI

Spurs Web Opinion
There is certainly an argument to be made that Pochettino is better than Guardiola considering where Tottenham were when the Argentine took over and how far he has bought us.
I sincerely doubt if the Spaniard would do well at a midtable side like Southampton where he doesn’t have the players required to play his style of football. However, I believe Jurgen Klopp has done a better job than Pochettino during his time in England as Liverpool were similarly far behind their top six rivals when he took over and are now arguably the most consistent team in the League.
