Danny Rose certainly stole the headlines during episode five of Amazon’s All or Nothing Tottenham Hotspur docuseries.
The left-back was seen on camera questioning some of his team-mates’ performances in training and matches, and told head coach Jose Mourinho that he would speak to chairman Daniel Levy over his lack of game time.
The defender made only five appearances under Mourinho before moving to Newcastle United on loan in January (transfermarkt).
talkSPORT presenter Darren Gough has praised the Portuguese for the way he handled Rose’s confrontational behaviour and described his threat of going to see the chairman following the meeting as pathetic.
“Credit to Rose. A lot of sportsman are scared to do that.”
“Credit for Mourinho on how he handled it too.”
“The way Danny ended it, saying he was going to Daniel [Levy] was pathetic!”@DGoughie on the Danny Rose vs Jose Mourinho scene in #AllorNothing pic.twitter.com/yjORtIwwH8
