Video: talkSPORT presenter launches brutally honest assessment of Spurs and Mourinho

talkSPORT presenter and Tottenham Hotspur fan Paul Hawksbee has launched a damning assessment of the club’s performance after watching his side lose to Chelsea.

Hawksbee was highly critical of how Spurs set up to play in the first half which saw the North Londoners sit back and try and hit Chelsea on the break, describing it as one of the worst forty-five minutes of action since he began watching the side in 1968.

The radio host could not understand while Eric Dier decided to kick out towards Timo Werner when he was already on the floor which led to referee Andre Mariner awarding the away side a penalty which Jorginho converted and proved to be the match winner.

With no supporters allowed inside the stadium due to the coronavirus pandemic, Hawksbee suggested that chairman Daniel Levy may not be fully aware of how much bad feeling there is among the fan base at the moment and the relationship between Mourinho and sections of the North London faithful could have turned toxic.

Hawksbee claimed that Mourinho should be ashamed given how much he has won in the professional game after sending his team in the manner of how they performed in the first period and also suggested that Harry Kane would be concerned after watching on from home.
