Former Chelsea and Marseille striker Tony Cascarino has disagreed with Jose Mourinho’s assessment of Heung-min Son.
The South Korean suffered a fractured right arm during the opening moments of the 3-2 win at Aston Villa on Sunday and has undergone surgery to rectify the issue.
Jose Mourinho admitted at yesterday’s press conference that he does not expect the 27-year-old to return to action for Tottenham before the end of the season (BBC).
Cascarino questioned Mourinho’s comments and believes that Son will be back playing before the campaign is over.
Despite picking up the injury early on at Villa Park, Son played through the pain barrier and netted twice; including a dramatic last-minute winner to close the gap on Chelsea to just a single point ahead of Saturday’s clash at Stamford Bridge.
