Video: talkSPORT pundit urges Daniel Levy to sign six players or risk standing still

Tottenham Hotspur once again came frustratingly close to winning silverware when they were beaten 2-0 by Liverpool in the Champions League final on Saturday evening.

Mauricio Pochettino not only guided his side to the final of European football’s most prestigious cup competition for the first time in their history but also secured a fourth successive top four finish in the Premier League.

What makes the feat more impressive is the fact that Spurs have not signed any new players over the past two transfer windows. However, many now feel the time has come for Daniel Levy to significantly back his manager in the transfer market this summer.

Former Liverpool striker Dean Saunders believes the key players at the club will be wondering if they will ever challenge for trophies unless Levy goes out and spends on five or six new faces.
