Video: Tanganga reveals ‘chills’ he got walking around the stadium after being subbed

Japhet Tanganga has admitted that the Spurs fans played a big part in pushing the players to give their all against Manchester City on Sunday.
Tottenham overcame the Premier League Champions 1-0 in Nuno Espirito Santo’s first game in charge, in what was a complete performance from the home side.
In many ways, Tanganga’s display encapsulated the solidity and the intensity with which Nuno’s men performed as the 22-year-old kept Raheem Sterling and Jack Grealish quiet.
Speaking to Spurs TV after the win, the defender admitted that it was an amazing feeling to have fans chanting his name as he walked around the pitch after being substituted in the 83rd minute.

In many ways, Tanganga’s performance yesterday was not a surprise as he has demonstrated a few times already that he is capable of keeping top players quiet.
The 22-year-old is an immense one vs one defender and his display yesterday should put an end to any speculation of him being loaned out.
