Tanguy Ndombele was caught on camera displaying some impressive skills during Thursday’s training session at Hotspur Way.
Despite the searing heat over the past couple of days in the UK, Ndombele was seen wearing a full tracksuit and wooly hat while the squad were put through their paces.
Some Spurs fans have suggested this is part of his training regime to help the Frenchman to lose further weight.
The video shows the midfielder picking the ball up and turning before pulling off a ‘flip-flap’ on Ryan Sessegnon to create some space to get his shot off on goal.

Despite the Frenchman’s skills on the training pitch, he has not played a minute since the Premier League restart.
Ndombele has featured on the bench against both Manchester United and West Ham since the return from lockdown, however, he has not even been seen to warm up on the touchline (Transfermarkt).

His future at Spurs seems very unclear at the minute, but it does appear he is trying to impress during training.

Obviously, some fans will stick by the manager’s decision as he has a better view on the player than the couple of seconds we get to see through the club’s social media coverage. However, it is incredibly frustrating to see a player with such incredible skill not even come off the bench in the past two games.
