Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has been spotted arriving in Rome ahead of undergoing his medical with Napoli.
The French international is set to join the Italian outfit on a season long loan deal which includes the option to make the transfer permanent at the end of the season for €30m (£25.2m) (Fabrizio Romano).
The 25-year-old made just nine Premier League appearances for Spurs last season and only two after Antonio Conte took over from the sacked Nuno Espirito Santo in November (transfermarkt).
He found himself having been sent on loan to Lyon in January with his former club deciding against turning it into a permanent deal.
Ndombele was greeted by supporters in the streets outside the Villa Stuart medical centre, who were keen to take a selfie with the 25-year-old.
