Rafael Van Der Vaart revealed this week that he sent Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy, a text urging him to sign Ajax winger Hakim Ziyech (VTBL).
Spurs know all about the Moroccan international after their games against him in the Champions League semi-final last season.
However, Ziyech has already made a blistering start to this latest campaign, scoring six and assisting nine in just 18 games so far (Transfer Markt).
With Christian Eriksen potentially leaving on a free in the summer, should Spurs go back to his old club for attacking reinforcements?
Check out some of his skills and goals from this season:
Spurs Web Opinion:
This would be a huge signing for Tottenham and could really take them to the next level in terms of their goalscoring and creating chances for Harry Kane. Tottenham need to recreate the set-up Kane has with Sterling and Sancho for England, and Ziyech could well be part of that.
We are crying out for a player who can add natural width to our team.
