Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol has revealed that a source has told him that he felt that the deal to bring Mauricio Pochettino back to Tottenham Hotspur is ‘basically done’.
Solhekol claimed that he has heard that Spurs are looking to have a new head coach in place in around the next ten days with Pochettino being one of the leading candidates.
The Athletic claimed earlier this morning that the Argentine has held talks with Daniel Levy about a return to North London and is interested, having experienced internal issues at Paris Saint-Germain having found the role to be less powerful.
Solhekol did emphasise it was something which he could not definitively confirm but was simply a message from one of his sources.
