Tottenham Hotspur may have left it late, but they announced the signing of Giovani Lo Celso from Real Betis on deadline day this summer.

The Argentine joins Spurs on an initial season-long loan period, with an option to buy in the summer of 2020 (BBC).

Lo Celso did not appear in the matchday squad against Aston Villa on the opening weekend, in a match where Spurs lacked a creative spark.

It remains to be seen whether he will make his debut against Man City this weekend or not, but Spurs fans must be excited at this 23-year-old prospect.

Check out some of his goals, skills, and assists from last season in Spain. Could he be a hit in the Prem?
