While many Premier League stars may have jetted off to spend time resting on a beach during the winter break, one Tottenham Hotspur player is still hard at work.
Recent signing Steven Bergwijn has been seen working hard with the help of a conditioning coach back in his native Holland.
Bergwijn who experienced a dream debut with Spurs following his move from PSV Eindhoven last month scored a brilliant volley in his first outing in North London against current Premier League champions Manchester City.
The 22-year-old was forced off in the 70th minute with cramp and had to sit out last Wednesday’s FA Cup fourth round replay against Southampton due to ineligibility after not being a registered Spurs player when the first tie was played.
He was captured on camera by his personal trainer’s Instagram story (@ranitraining) which will certainly please many Spurs fans that the winger is focused on improving, rather than sitting back after netting a big money transfer.
