Jamie Redknapp believes that Jose Mourinho has a tough task on his hands in turning Tottenham’s Hotspur’s form around.

The 2-1 defeat leaves Tottenham in ninth place, nine points behind the fourth-placed Hammers.

Tottenham have now lost five of their last league games (W1), only picking up points in a 2-0 home victory against West Brom in this time in what has been a spectacular fall from grace after occupying top spot in the Premier League table in December.

Newspaper reports on Sunday suggested that the Portuguese’s job could be on the line if his team failed to win at London Stadium.

Redknapp, who was performing his punditry duties for Sky Sports believes that Mourinho must now look to turn around the club’s poor run of form, claiming it is a big concern despite offering a positive spin on the performance of Gareth Bale who came on as a second-half substitute with the Welshman providing the assist for Lucas Moura’s goal and also hit the crossbar with an impressive half volley.
