Tottenham’s Under-23s were held to a 1-1 draw by Blackburn Rovers at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday night.
Spurs took the lead through a solo effort from Jack Clarke, who continued his hot streak in front of goal.
However, Blackburn restored parity midway into the second half through Connor McBride and despite some late Spurs pressure, they managed to come away with a point.
The draw now means that Spurs are now unbeaten in eight matches in Premier League 2, with Wayne Brunette’s side currently sitting third in the table.
However, the game on Monday will be remembered for what happened after the full-time whistle as the two sets of players clashed.
Following the altercation, Tottenham pair Kallum Cesay and Tobi Omole, as well as Rovers captain Jake Garrett, were shown red cards for their involvement.

Spurs Web Opinion
Perhaps the frustrations of the Spurs lads from failing to get all three points, boiled over after the final whistle. We certainly created enough chances to come away with a win.
I am sure Brunette will let Cesay, Omole and co know that their behaviour was not acceptable. The young lads will learn from the unfortunate incident.
