Video: Time-lapse footage shows pitch markings at new Spurs stadium

With the cameras surrounding the Tottenham Hotspur stadium recording its development 24 hours a day, 7 days a week it certainly allows for some beautiful footage to be captured.

The cameras have been once again rolling over the past week, both inside the 62,062 seater stadium and pointed at the exterior.

Eagle-eyed Spurs fans will notice at 3:15 minutes into the video, you will see the Tottenham groundstaff marking the grass playing surface, including the penalty areas at our new home.

Despite the pitch markings being set out by staff, there will be no competitive football played at the new stadium until 2019.

This week’s footage also features the installation of the famous Spurs crest onto the exterior of the west stand.

The work was undertaken during the night and gave fans somewhat of a pleasant surprise come daylight.

A further official update from Tottenham on the status of the stadium is expected in early December.
