Tottenham Hotspur defender, Toby Alderweireld, has been the subject of much speculation this summer, with Sky Sports even claiming that Spurs and Roma were in talks over a potential deal earlier this month.
This comes as the Belgian has just one year left on his current deal, as well as a £25m buyout clause that runs out in a matter of days (Guardian).
However, Toby was named as captain from the start against Juventus today and kept a clean sheet in the first half.
He then made it clear to journalists that his focus is firmly on Tottenham and the new season.
