A fellow Tottenham Hotspur fan paid a visit to N17 earlier today which is the site of the new 62,062 seater stadium to provide a visual update on the progress of the exterior of the project.
On Tuesday, the first building as part of the development project opened its doors when the new club shop went live at 10am.
Work also continues on the exterior of the west stand as the framework for the ‘veil’ continues to be put in place.
The wrap – otherwise known as the ‘veil’ is made up of 4,801 perforated metal panels, fitted to modular frames which are affixed to the rear of the stands. It will enclose the building, wrapping around the whole stadium to create a dynamic, flowing exterior.
Manufactured in Germany, certain panels will illuminate, creating a stunning visual effect that will bring the stadium to life.
