Video: Today at the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium (12th November)

Every day it seems like there has been significant progress made to something new on the exterior of the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

A Spurs fan paid a visit to N17 earlier today to provide a visual update on the progress of the development which they captured on video.

The panelling work which has been completed on the exterior of west stand surrounding the glass atrium entrance is very encouraging and is now over halfway to completion.

Yesterday, it was announced that Tottenham have been given permission to continue playing their home matches at Wembley until their new stadium is ready – but at a reduced capacity.

The club initially agreed to continue playing at Wembley until the end of the current year, but can now play there for the remainder of the season.

Brent Council have ordered that attendance for all potential home fixtures after Chelsea, to be played on 24 November, is capped at 51,000.

Tottenham are due to submit a planning application to increase this cap to 62,000.

A further update will be released by the club on the progress of the stadium early next month.
