Tottenham Hotspur have taken the lead against Everton after thirteen minutes of action in north London.
The goal came as a result of some clever play down the left-hand flank which began when Ben Davies stepped out of his central defensive position to overload the wide area and allowed Ryan Sessegnon to bomb forward.
Davies’ pass found Sessegnon who did the right thing and fired his cross to the near post towards Harry Kane, where Toffees defender Michael Keane put through his own goal.
Everton had started the game as the better side, but Spurs have certainly taken the game by the scruff of its neck since.
