Video: Tottenham player mocks Arsenal on webcam to the delight of his teammates

Although most Premier League players have already started training in groups, they are still expected to obey lockdown rules just like the rest of the British public.

Therefore, in an effort to pass the time, some members of the Tottenham first-team squad got together to play a game of Quiplash via webcams.

The players are given a series of incomplete sentences and the aim of the game is to fill the space with a funny answer in order to receive the most votes.

The video of Jan Vertonghen, Michel Vorm, Ben Davies, Eric Dier, and Japhet Tanganga playing the game was released by Tottenham Hotspur on their Youtube channel.

One prompt during the game read: ‘The dumbest use of science would be to clone a ________’.

Michel Vorm hilariously mocked Spurs’ North London rivals’ by offering up ‘Arsenal fan’ as his answer.

Ben Davies, meanwhile, chose to poke fun at Vertonghen by offering ‘Belgian’ as his answer. Needless to say, it was Vorm’s answer that got more votes.

I never really took Ben Davies to be much of a prankster until I watched this video but he was brilliant at poking fun at Dier and Vertonghen in particular. It also looked as if Tanganga didn’t quite seem to grasp the game until the end.
