Tottenham Hotspur’s Erik Lamela may have had a nightmare run of injuries in recent seasons, but he hasn’t lost any of his class off the pitch.
With Spurs now in Shanghai for pre-season, Lamela happened to be in the same city as his former youth coach, who now teaches children in China.
Said coach gave Lamela an hour’s notice that he was bringing a coach load of kids over to the Spurs hotel, with the Tottenham star leaving dinner early to personally meet, greet, sign autographs, and take pictures with them all.
