Video: Tottenham player’s brilliant gesture before Sheffield United match

Tottenham fans were left extremely disappointed with the team’s display against Sheffield United on Saturday.

The Lilywhites desperately needed a win to maintain the momentum going into the international break but didn’t do enough to get the three points.

While there was little that happened during the game that impressed the fans, there was an incident just before kick off involving Tottenham attacker Son Heung-min that some fans absolutely adored.

The South Korean covered the head of his mascot as the teams were lining up before kick off, in order to protect the child’s head from getting wet from rain in the skies above N177.

This is one of the reasons Son is universally loved not just by Spurs fans but by football fans in general. The 27-year-old is extremely humble and down to earth in all his interviews and is never one to seek the limelight. I believe Son is well and truly on his way to becoming a Spurs legend.
