Tottenham Hotspur not only waved goodbye to Jan Vertonghen this week, but also long-term standby goalkeeper, Michel Vorm.
Vorm joined the Lilywhites in 2016 from Swansea City and, although he only went on to make 48 appearances, he was a consistent and important voice within the squad.
The Dutch shot-stopper left Spurs last season but returned to sign a one-year deal when Hugo Lloris picked up a long-term injury in 2019 (BBC).
Spurs posted an emotional farewell video on their Twitter account yesterday as the players, staff, and fans bid goodbye and good luck to Vorm.
Thank you and best of luck in your next chapter, @Vorm_Official ? pic.twitter.com/8o8iyqKzBo
