Video: Tottenham target Albert Gudmundsson scores yet another worldie

Rumoured Tottenham target Albert Gudmundsson netted yet another outstanding goal for Iceland this week in the Euro qualifier against Ukraine.

Gudmundsson has been one of the standout attacking players in the Serie A this season and it has been widely reported over the last few weeks that Spurs are plotting a summer move for the attacking midfielder.

This was also backed up by Alasdair Gold recently, with the journalist stating that the Lilywhites hold ‘considerable interest’ in the Genoa star (Football.London).

Tottenham are not the only ones after the 26-year-old, who is also rumoured to be on the radars of both Inter Milan and Juventus (FcInterNews).

Albert Gudmundsson scores four in two games

Gudmundsson’s stock rose even further during the international breaking as the midfielder followed up his brilliant hattrick against Israel last week with another world-class goal against Ukraine on Tuesday.

The goal was not enough to take Iceland to the Euros, with Ukraine coming from behind to win 2-1 after the Genoa star had given the Nordic side the lead in the first half.

The balance and agility he showed to weave away from a couple of Ukraine defenders was beautiful and he could not have hit the ball any better, giving the goalkeeper no chance. It is certainly understandable why so many top clubs are quite keen on Gudmundsson.
