Footballl derbies are always an intense affair.
However, today this was surpassed by an idottic supporter during the Midlands derby between Birmingham City and Aston Villa.
A male Birmingham supporter ran onto the pitch during the ninth minute at St Andrews and swung a punch at Villla midfielder Jack Grealish in cowardly fashion while he was facing the wrong way.
Grealish has previously been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham, but a deal failed to materialise during the summer.
Thankfully the man’s attempt to punch Grealish was pathetic and he was able to play the whole 90 minutes in which Villa had the last laugh with a 1-0 away win.
