Tottenham Hotspur have had more than their fair share of negative headlines and criticism from some supporters over the past six months following the lengthy delay surrounding the opening of the new stadium.

However, the club have shown their true class by inviting a terminally ill fan to visit the new 62,062 capacity seater stadium.

The supporter was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour and has a limited time left.  We all hope that one of our own gets to see his side play a competitive match at the stadium following last night’s news.

Tottenham, we applaud you.

  1. Alex:

Do you know how to reach this terminally ill fan?
And does he actually have tickets to the inaugural game?

I have season tickets, but because I live in North America, I need at least 6 weeks advance notice to book flights. The club gave us 4 weeks. So the pair of tickets will otherwise go begging. I’d like to put those tickets into his hands.

    Cheers
    Josh
