Video: Tottenham’s Luka Vuskovic shows that he is already fully COYS

Young defender Luka Vuskovic is not allowed to join Tottenham Hotspur officially until next summer, but he’s already been showing his support for his future team after a video emerged of the Croatian starlet wearing Spurs shinpads during a game this weekend.

Tottenham have been making big moves for the future of late, with the signings of the likes of Lucas Bergvall, Ashley Phillips, and Alejo Veliz in the last 12 months all signalling the club’s intention to have the top talent for years to come.

Another name to add to that list is Luka Vuskovic, one of the most highly-rated young defenders in Europe. At just 17 years old, the Croatian star is not allowed to join Spurs from Hajduk Split until the summer of 2025.

Tottenham are monitoring his development closely, though, and arranged a loan deal to send Vuskovic to Polish side Radomiak Radom in order to provide him with more first-team football opportunities (The Athletic).

Vuskovic seems to be settling in well at his new club, too. The youngster has played the full 90 minutes in the last four games, and has now bagged two goals in five appearances for Ramomiak Radom (Transfermarkt).

Luka Vuskovic has Spurs shinpads

Despite having to wait another 15 months to join up with Spurs, it seems Vuskovic is fully invested in the club already, as a video was shared on social media of the young centre-half wearing shinpads with the Tottenham club crest on them.

Celebrating with a teammate after the recent win over Piast Gliwice—during which Vuskovic scored—the teenager is seen with his socks rolled down and the Spurs-branded shinpads underneath.

This is great to see. I bet Vuskovic cannot wait to join up with Spurs, and I’m very excited to see what he can do for us in years to come.
