Troy Parrott continues to shine at Excelsior, with the striker netting a brilliant goal in the club’s 4-2 loss against FC Twente on Saturday.
Parrott has been thought of very highly at Tottenham for a long time, having made his senior debut for the North London club back in 2019.
The striker has had loan spells at Millwall, Ipswich Town, MK Dons and Preston North End over the last few years but failed to pull up any trees at any of those clubs.
However, the 21-year-old appears to have come of age in the Eredivisie this season, with his strike on Saturday taking his tally to five goals and two assists in 12 league matches so far this season (Transfermarkt).
Troy Parrott continues his fine form away from Spurs
Parrott gave his side the lead on 9 minutes as he ran onto a long ball over the top before taking a touch and drilling it into the bottom corner.

These goals will instil belief in Parrott that he belongs at the top level and he could potentially be a different player when he returns to Tottenham next summer.
It is worth remembering that Kane too had his struggles out on loan and only started showing signs of maturity when he turned 21.
