The Tottenham Hotspur right-back beautifully curled the ball around the defensive wall to leave the Croatian keeper helpless.
As a Spurs fan, I’m left wondering that with quality shown like that, why hasn’t Trippier been given an opportunity to take free-kicks for us in the past? We all know Christian Eriksen has quality from a dead ball set piece, just ask Swansea City, but surely Trippier needs to take a few next season.
If I were Serge Aurier, I’d be resigning myself to spending the season on the sub’s bench. Kieran Trippier is our number one choice by a country mile.
