Tottenham Hotspur youngster Troy Parrott is regarded as one of the brightest talents among the ranks in North London.
The 17-year-old was given the chance to be part of Mauricio Pochettino’s pre-season squad for the tour of the Far East and the Audi Cup and certainly caught the eye.
Parrott was named in the Republic of Ireland Under-21 starting eleven for their Euro Qualifier against Armenia this evening and found the back of the net on his first appearance at this level.
The goal came in the 30th minute when good play from down the left hand side saw Aaron Connolly find Parrott in the box who was on hand to tap home.
