There is a lot of weight on the shoulders of Troy Parrott among some pockets of the Tottenham Hotspur fan base who believe he will be the next big thing to come out of the club’s academy.
The 17-year-old has already caught the eye in his appearances last season for the Under-23 and 18’s which saw him on more than one occasion not only train with the first team but also travel with them to some Premier League fixtures.
Parrott’s season was somewhat cut short when he was stretchered off with a leg injury against Derby County Under-23’s in late April which forced him to miss Ireland’s Under-17 European campaign.
The talented teen has today posted a video of himself on his Instagram story whilst on an exercise bike tagged with the ‘Tottenham Hotspur Training Ground’ as a location.
It’s certainly encouraging to see a player which such talent also having the hunger and desire to get himself ready for the new season, even though pre-season training is not set to start until early July.
