Tottenham Hotspur have had to endure yet more rumours about their manager leaving for another job this week.
The links to Manchester United have only been fuelled by the sacking of Jose Mourinho yesterday morning (The Sun).
Pochettino has been linked to both United and Real Madrid for a long time now (Express), something that must unsettle Tottenham to a degree.
The last thing Spurs will want is a distraction ahead of their crucial quarter-final game against Arsenal tomorrow night, as well as the rest of their busy Xmas period.
It is unlikely to say the least that Pochettino will leave his position at Tottenham before the season is up, and even beyond that, but it is far from helpful for the team.
One football fan has poked fun at the rumours but pasting pictures of the Tottenham players’ heads onto Kim Jong Un’s car-side bodyguards during his trip to South Korea.
It has to be seen to be understood.
They certainly won’t be letting Poch leave without a fight.
