(Video) Update at Tottenham’s new 62,062-seater stadium

Shifting some of the focus away from the Watford result, it is time for another new Tottenham Hotspur stadium update.

Chris Cowlin paid a visit to the site of our new 62,062 seater ground early yesterday morning to provide us with some video footage on what’s new and what is different over the past week.

Of course, I’m sure we don’t need reminding that our next Premier League game against Liverpool was scheduled to be our first game at our new home.

The building site looked pretty devoid of workers when Chris visited yesterday, which is very frustrating considering the urgency to get the project completed.  Are there really over 3,500 people working around the clock on the stadium?

Hopefully the Watford performance was a flash in the pan and Pochettino can get his players back on track before we grace our new home.

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. Number of workers has been stripped back and overtime reduced. Yesterday was Sunday, hopefully the workers were spending the time with their families, or watching spurs lose on TV. Good to give the local residents a break from the noise too.
