Valencia fans are keen for Bryan Gil to stay put at the club beyond the summer, with a video showing their supporters chanting for just that outcome.
Gil struggled to get much game time either under Nuno Espirito Santo or Antonio Conte at Spurs after joining the North London club from Sevilla in the summer.
The 20-year-old did show glimpses of his quality in a Tottenham shirt but it did not come as a major surprise when the club loaned him out in January.
The Spain international has been getting rave reviews since his switch to Valencia and put in another impressive performance to help the club overcome Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday and book a place in the Copa del Ray final.
Reports in Spain claimed last month that Valencia have been so impressed by the youngster that they are already keen to open talks with Spurs overextending his loan into next season (Cadena SER).
However, according to Evening Standard, Tottenham are thought to be hopeful that Gil has a future in North London and expect him to return to the club at the end of his loan spell in the summer.
Valencia fans certainly expressed their intention to the winger, chanting for him to remain with the club.

Gil’s talent is certainly not in question. We have seen players like David Silva thrive in the Premier League despite not being very strong physicality. However, Conte has shown through his managerial career that he prefers strong players and so it remains to be seen if the 20-year-old has a future under the Italian.
