Former Spurs midfielder Rafael van der Vaart has posted a hilarious response to a tweet that the club posted earlier this week.
Tottenham’s official Twitter handle posted a video of midfielder Harry Winks juggling a piece of chewing gum during the warm-up session ahead of the game against Manchester City on Sunday.

Van der Vaart, who is a fan favourite among the Spurs faithful partly due to his sublime skill on the ball, replied to the tweet with a video of himself doing keepy-uppies with chewing gum ahead of Tottenham’s game against Real Madrid in 2011.

It is fair to say that Rafa’s piece of skill was much more impressive than Winks’ was. In all seriousness, it is great to see Winks finally getting the credit he deserves from Spurs fans. It was a brave call by Jose to start him as the sole defensive midfielder against Manchester City but the 24-year-old more than held his own.
