Video: Vorm speaks about return to Spurs and gets warm embrace from team-mate

Tottenham Hotspur recruited a familiar face yesterday with the arrival of Michel Vorm.

The 35-year-old was released at the end of last season following the expiration of his contract in North London.

After Hugo Lloris was ruled out with the dislocated elbow which he sustained in the 3-0 defeat at Brighton, Spurs were left with Paulo Gazzaniga as the only goalkeeper with first team experience.

Vorm was yet to link up with another club following his departure from Spurs which has allowed Mauricio Pochettino to snap him up as a free agent despite the transfer window having already closed.

The Dutchman expressed his delight after signing a contract until the end of the season

He admitted that it was easy to return to Hotspur Way after spending five seasons at the club following his arrival from Swansea City in 2014.

Footage taken from Spurs TV also showed the keeper being greeted by Eric Dier who was at the training ground after being left out of the England squad.
