On completing his move to Tottenham, Pedro Porro has said that he cannot wait to meet Spurs fans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.

The 23-year-old became Spurs’ second signing of the January window, arriving on an initial loan deal worth £5m with an obligation to buy him permanently for an additional £39m (Sky Sports).

Antonio Conte saw first-hand the threat that the Spaniard poses in the opposition third in Tottenham’s two Champions League group stage games against Sporting earlier this season, and the Italian will be hoping that the right wing-back adds a new dimension to his side’s attack.

Porro seemed delighted on finally completing his switch to Spurs on deadline day, admitting that he cannot wait to share memorable moments with the fans.

Porro also took to social media on completing the move to state that he is focused on working hard at the club.

This signing has the potential to have a transformative impact on our season, just as the Dejan Kulusevski’s and Rodrigo Bentancur’s arrivals did last January. Having Perisic and Porro on either flank could make our system very difficult to defend against.
