Video: Watch Spurs star nutmeg goalkeeper in international fixture

Richarlison found the back of the net yet again for Brazil as they overcome Tunisia 5-1 on Tuesday in Paris.

Richarlison has made a bright start to the season at Spurs and the forward took his club form to the international scene, netting three goals in Brazil’s clashes against Ghana and Tunisia over the international break.

The Tottenham man took his goal against the North African side brilliantly as he beat the offside trap and smashed the ball in between the goalkeeper’s legs on a half-volley, to restore Brazil’s lead on 19 minutes, just a minute after Tunisia had equalised.

However, the game was marred by ugly scenes as the Tottenham man was the subject of racist abuse, having a banana thrown at him as he wheeled away to celebrate his goal.

The Brazilian Football federation, CBF, took to social media to condemn the incident in the strongest possible terms.

Unfortunately, what should have been another special night for Richarlison has been spoilt by such ugly scenes which followed the goal. It is up to the footballing authorities to take strong action to deter idiots from engaging in this type of abuse in the future.
