Video: Watch Spurs Under-23s brush Man City aside with 3 excellent goals

Tottenham Under-23s continued their brilliant run of form by brushing Manchester City aside 3-0 on Saturday.

Wayne Burnett’s side are currently on a brilliant run of form and headed into the game against City on the back of comfortable wins over Leicester and Chelsea, scoring four goals on each occasion.

The Spurs youngsters were on fire in front of goal again on Saturday as they thrashed City to move to second in the Premier League 2 Division 1 table.

Jack Clarke gave them the lead on 12 minutes by cutting inside and producing a thumping finish off his left foot into the bottom corner before midfielder Nile John scored an excellent brace.

Spurs Web Opinion

This Spurs Under-23s side is arguably the best we have had in several years. There have been several outstanding performers throughout the team, including the likes of Dilan Markanday, Jack Clark, Harvey White, Nile John, Marcel Lavinier and Malachi Fagan-Walcott. I expect at least four of five of them to be loaned out in January.
