Tottenham Hotspur lifted their first trophy of the season last night in the Allianz Arena as they defeated the German champions, Bayern Munich, on penalties.
Harry Kane, Toby Alderweireld, Heung Min Son, Oliver Skipp, Jack Roles, and Japhet Tanganga all stepped up and scored from the spot, while Christian Eriksen’s weak attempt was saved.
Paulo Gazzaniga was also a hero on the night as he saved two of Bayern’s spot-kicks to win Tottenham the match and see them lift the Audi Cup.
Let’s hope that more trophies are on the way.
