Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil has earlier today arrived at Valencia and has been mobbed by reporters.
The Spanish international will undergo a medical with the La Liga outfit ahead of completing a loan move for the remainder of the season (Fabrizio Romano).
The 21-year-old was asked by reporters about why he had decided to make the switch to the Mestalla Stadium and admitted that he believes he can be a success with the club.
The youngster joined Spurs from Sevilla last summer in a deal which took Erik Lamela in the opposite direction but has struggled for regular first team football.
He failed to start a game in the Premier League and was unable to find the back of the net or provide an assist in the top flight (transfermarkt).
Gil told reporters: “Valencia is a city that I like and I like the way the team plays. I think I can do well and that’s why I chose to come here”

Hopefully Gil can have a strong second half to the season and continue his footballing education at Valencia before coming back to Spurs in the summer to look to break into Antonio Conte’s plans.
