Video: What Mauricio Pochettino said after the win at Huddersfield

Tottenham Hotspur moved into the top four with a comfortable victory at strugglers Huddersfield Town earlier today.

Harry Kane headed home a Kieran Trippier pin-point cross after 25 minutes to open the scoring and also buried a 34th-minute penalty as Mauricio Pochettino’s side took control before cruising to their fourth league win away from home this season.

Spurs will now turn attention to the Champions League group stage clash against Barcelona on Wednesday evening.

The victory was Tottenham’s third in a row having previously beaten Brighton in the league and Watford in the Carabao Cup in the last seven days.

“It was a very good win, I’m very pleased,” Pochettino told the BBC.

“The attitude was fantastic. It was a tough game against a team desperate to win. They were helped by their unbelievable fans, among the best I have found in England.

“We are in the Premier League, it is tough, physical. Teams like Huddersfield are difficult to play. They have very good players – with the atmosphere and the manager, they will bounce back.”
