Video- What Poch had to say after 1-0 win away to West Ham

Tottenham Hotspur edged past rivals West Ham today in a fierce London Derby.

Spurs won the game 1-0 thanks to an Erik Lamela goal on the stroke of half time, but it was an extremely tight affair at the Olympic Stadium.

West Ham gave as good as they got in an equal 90 minutes, and Spurs were perhaps a tad fortunate to walk away with all three points.

But, alas they did, and Poch’s men have now drawn level on points with Chelsea, just two points behind league leaders Manchester City and Liverpool.

Spurs took the lead in the 44th minute after Sissoko shifted onto his left foot and delivered a delightful curling cross which was flicked home by the head of Lamela.

The goal marked the Argentine’s seventh in just nine games, an amazing return for the attacking midfielder.

Spurs will face Man City next in the Premier League on a battered Wembley pitch just a day after a big NFL match is due to be played there.
