Tottenham Hotspur have yet to replace Mousa Dembele in the heart of the Spurs midfield, ever since the Belgian left for China back in the January transfer window.
However, Sky Italia has now linked Spurs with a move for Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini, who is said to have a £27m buyout clause. Calcio Mercato also reported that Pellegrini was keen on a move to Spurs.
