Video – What Spurs could have if they get the most out of Marcus Edwards

Tottenham Hotspur have a number of fantastic attacking players in their academy, but there is still one whose name proceeds him among Spurs fans, Marcus Edwards.

Edwards was sent out on loan to Dutch side Excelsior last season, after some disappointing years in the Tottenham academy and a loan spell at Norwich.

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. God, he can’t shoot for shit! As you said Tony in that clip nearly every time he passes they score, every time he shoots he misses by a mile. Pass the Ball!!!

  2. The most important component of a top player is their mentality, and its pretty clear from the last 3 years that Edwards (given how outstandingly talented he is) just doesn’t have what it takes.

We should take what we can get and let him have a half decent career in Holland.
