Video – What Spurs would get if they replace Trippier with Max Aarons

Tottenham Hotspur may have finished in the top four in the Premier League last season, as well as reaching the Champions League final, but they had big problems in defence.

Spurs lost a whopping 13 games in the Prem, conceding 39 goals in that time, with a major source of discomfort being the right-back position.

Kieran Trippier was unable to reach the heights of his World Cup performances in Russia, and has subsequently been linked with a move away from the club (Sunday Times).

Norwich’s Max Aarons has now been tipped to replace Trippier, with Man United also potentially interested (Metro).
