Tottenham Hotspur may have qualified for the Champions League final this season, but it wasn’t all plain sailing for the Lilywhites.
Spurs found themselves 3-0 down on aggregate at half-time in the away leg against Ajax, and all but out of the competition.
However, the Tottenham lads rallied in the second 45 and scored three goals courtesy of a Lucas Moura hat-trick.
Kieran Trippier revealed after the match that Harry Kane had given the team a passionate rollicking at half time (Mirror), while Mauricio Pochettino denied this and claimed it was Lloris and himself who talked during the break (Standard).
Danny Rose has now come down on the side of Tripps, revealing that Kane can be an extremely passionate figure once he gets going.

“It did happen. He asked if we really wanted the season to end like this.”
“When Harry goes, he goes!” ?
“It’s a great side to see of him, it shows he cares. He’s never satisfied.”
