Football players always want to speak their mind to referees, but it is often best to hold your tongue in the heat of the moment… someone should probably tell Danny Rose that.
Rose was involved from the start for England last night, and received the man of the match award for his contribution against Switzerland.
England limped to a narrow 1-0 victory, courtesy of a second-half Marcus Rashford goal.
However, the victory didn’t seem to dampen Danny Rose’s anger at the night’s ref, after he failed to give a corner after the left-back’s positive run and deflected shot.
The camera panned to Rose as the referee pointed for a goal kick, and picked up some rather distasteful language from the Tottenham defender.
Rose was seen to be shouting: ‘You are f**king sh*t’

Although no punishment was handed out on the night, Danny Rose should expect some kind of sanction from The FA or wider governing bodies.
