Videos: Pundit makes claim about Mourinho and Spurs star following NLD loss

Richard Keys has suggested that Jose Mourinho has been proven right about Dele Alli after Tottenham fell to a 3-1 loss in the North London Derby on Sunday.

Alli, who struggled to get a look in under Mourinho last season, has started every single Premier League game so far under Nuno Espirito Santo.

The 25-year-old has been deployed in the left of the midfield three instead of a number ten and while he showed some promise in the first three games, his performances over recent weeks have left a lot to be desired.

After struggling to get into the game at the Emirates, the England international was replaced with Oliver Skipp at half-time on Sunday.

Keys has now suggested that the midfielder has offered Spurs “absolutely nothing” this season after being brought back into the side.

Nuno got credit for reinventing Alli in a new role after the first couple of games of the season. So, it is only natural that the Spurs boss is getting questioned now that it is evidently not working for the midfielder in the current set up. I would not be surprised if the 25-year-old is dropped for the upcoming matches after his performance on Sunday.
